Empowering Future Leaders: A 3-Day Training Program for PMC Children at Queens of Apostle Church, Nairobi
At Promentors, our mission is to nurture and empower young minds, preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow. Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to work with the children of Queens of Apostle Church in Nairobi through an engaging and transformative 3-day training program.
Our dedicated team of trainers arrived with a clear goal: to inspire, educate, and equip the children with essential skills and knowledge that will serve them throughout their lives. Over the course of three days, the young participants delved into a variety of enriching activities designed to foster personal growth, leadership qualities, and collaborative spirit.
Day 1: Building Foundations
The first day was all about setting the stage for an exciting learning journey. We focused on team-building exercises and interactive workshops aimed at boosting confidence and communication skills. Through games and group discussions, the children began to understand the importance of teamwork and mutual respect.
Day 2: Developing Skills
On the second day, we shifted our focus to skill development. The children participated in sessions covering problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective decision-making. Our trainers employed creative methods to make learning enjoyable and impactful, ensuring that each child could connect the lessons to real-life scenarios.
Day 3: Application and Reflection
The final day was dedicated to applying the skills learned. The children engaged in project-based activities where they had the chance to showcase their newfound abilities. This hands-on approach allowed them to put theory into practice while receiving constructive feedback from our trainers. We concluded the program with a reflection session, where the children shared their experiences and insights gained over the past three days.
The enthusiasm and growth displayed by the children were truly inspiring. We believe that the skills and confidence they’ve gained during this training will have a lasting impact on their lives. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Queens of Apostle Church for hosting us and to the children for their participation and eagerness to learn.
At Promentors, we are committed to continuing our work in communities like Nairobi, supporting the development of future leaders and innovators. Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming programs and initiatives.
